My special expertise
My areas of special expertise include cervical and lumbar spine surgery, as well as brain tumors. In addition to my clinical neurosurgery work, I have conducted extensive research in both oncology and neurosurgery. I also perform shunt surgeries.Services
In my clinic, I assess radiating pain symptoms from cervical and lumbar nerve root issues, as well as symptoms caused by spinal canal stenosis. I am also happy to assess treatment and follow-up plans for brain tumors, as well as the need for surgical treatment or monitoring of other intracranial and intraspinal tumors and imaging findings.
You can also come to my clinic for:
- Evaluating symptoms following head injuries
- Discussing shunt treatment, cerebral artery aneurysms, or other vascular abnormalities
- Assessing the need for craniotomy for the removal of skull bone lesions.
In my position at the HUS university hospital, I work extensively with brain tumor patients. I perform surgeries on intracranial and intraspinal tumors and collaborate in a neuro-oncology team that plans comprehensive care for brain tumor patients. Additionally, I treat and perform surgeries on patients suffering from degenerative diseases of the cervical and lumbar spine, such as herniated discs and stenosis of the spinal canal or nerve root openings.
In the field of spinal surgery, I have also supervised several theses and doctoral research projects focused on the effectiveness and long-term outcomes of spinal surgery.

Consultations are billed based on the actual time spent, including any time spent reviewing patient information before the consultation and documentation at the end of the visit.
